The Mount Sinai Sailing Association in Mount Sinai, NY is hosting the 31st Annual American Cancer Society Regatta on Saturday, August 18 in Long Island Sound. The second longest running charity regatta in the United States, the ACS Regatta has raised more than half a million dollars for the American Cancer Society.

The event is open to all self-righting, single-hull sailing yachts. The course is 8 to 20 miles, depending on conditions. There will be PHRF Spinnaker and Non-spinnaker divisions (and Double-handed and One-design) based on entries). First, second and third place trophies will be awarded in all divisions. The Team Trophy will be awarded to the club with the best three finishers.

A post-race party will be held at Mount Sinai Yacht Club, with free food and refreshments, live entertainment, an auction and a raffle.
