The Northeast Maritime Exhibition is coming to Mystic Seaport next weekend, May 14-16, 2010. You will have the opportunity to view and board beautiful new and brokerage yachts on the Mystic River while strolling through picturesque Mystic Seaport. On the docks will be a wide range of models such as Hanse, Catalina, Island Packet, Hunter, American Tug, Dyer, Nord Star, Fathom, Lagoon. On land: Bic, Hobie Cat, LaserPerformance, Kayaks, and others. The 125’ Spirit of Massachusetts will be giving tours and describing their Ocean Classroom voyages.
Additionally, an array of nautical vendors will be on-site offering everything from eco-friendly bottom paint to foul weather gear. Be part of liferaft deployment and man-overboard demonstrations, reducing your carbon wake by Sailors for the Sea, Discover Sailing trips, a special screening of the new film Madstreak (Clay Burkhalter’s film about his solo min-transit race and Clay will be there to answer questions), and more!
