Cost Control While You Cruise by Lin & Larry Pardey

Cost Control While You Cruise by Lin & Larry Pardey

Lin and Larry Pardey need little introduction to cruising sailors. It’s been said their popular books, videos and seminars have launched 50,000 dreams. Lin and Larry have teamed up with Tory Salvia of TheSailingChannel.tv to present the most popular of their seminars on DVD and as MP4 downloads. Cost Control While You Cruise, in which they share the financial lessons they’ve learned in 45 years of offshore voyaging, is the latest in a series.

Never has the question “What does it actually cost to cruise?” been more critical for sailors on a budget, and no one is better prepared to provide an informed answer than this legendary cruising couple. Lin discusses ways that sailors can keep maintenance expenses in check, creating a reasonable cruising budget, the importance of an “unstoppable” cruising boat, how your ground tackle and dinghy can save you money, and how to avoid temptations that can double your cruising costs, and Larry demonstrates simple techniques that can double the life of your sails.
