Our friends at the Mount Sinai Sailing Association are pleased to present the 42nd edition of the American Cancer Society Regatta on Saturday, September 16. This MSSA event is the second longest running charity regatta in the United States.

PHRF Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker boats (with Double-Handed, One-Design and Cruising divisions based on entries) will sail a course of approximately 6 to 16 miles, followed by a party at Mount Sinai Yacht Club in Mount Sinai, NY with live entertainment, food, refreshments, raffles and an auction.

“Whether or not you plan to compete in the on-the-water race, you can join this event’s online fundraising effort to help surpass last year’s donations,” said regatta co-chair Michael DeNicola. “Join the many sailors and powerboaters from around the Long Island Sound to raise money to FIND A CURE.”

“Visit acsengage.org/mssa,” DeNicola continued. “This is the Virtual Regatta link where you can start your own fundraising team or make a contribution to one or more of the teams you’ll find there. It’s fun, it’s easy, and best of all it supports this worthy cause in the most meaningful way, by providing funding for cancer research!” For more information, contact Alison at 631 445-3732 or Michael at 631 445-3738, or log onto mssa.org/index.php/2023-acs-regatta
