Born and raised in Cheshire, England and educated in Canada, Lesley O’Brien BSc, MSc, PhD is a high school dropout turned hairdresser, turned neuroscientist. She and her partner Chris and Marco, whom she adopted as a former street kitten, live in Richmond, VA. They all enjoy sailing the Chesapeake and adventuring on their sailboat, SV Amarok.
Emmett Donovan BA is an artist and graphic designer based in Roanoke, VA. A full-time visual designer, family man and artist out in the world, he relishes spending time outdoors in the Roanoke Valley. ■
