Our friends at Clean Ocean Access, an organization whose mission is “action today so future generations can enjoy ocean activities with a vision of a healthy ocean that is free of marine debris with water that is safe for all ocean activities and a shoreline that is accessible for everyone,” have launched an exciting new program.

The Clean Ocean Avenger Club is an engaging way to teach children how they can care for our oceans by developing responsible environmental behaviors, no matter how old they are.
Designed for children ages 6-10, the Avenger kit comes with a COA-inspired 6-page booklet with activities children can do whether they live in a coastal community, a big city, or a rural setting. Also included are a Clean Ocean Avenger certificate, the 2021 mascot sticker, and a plush version of our mascot, Jet the sea turtle. 

Each year we’ll reveal a new mascot and updated activities for future donations, all to keep inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards.  

The cost to purchase a kit is $65 and for every purchase you will receive a $50 donation acknowledgement, helping us reach our financial goals by offsetting the cost of the contents.

In celebration of this new initiative, we have partnered with the Newport, RI Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center with a goal of delivering 40 Clean Ocean Avenger kits to children who attend their after-school program. If you would like to make a donation to Clean Ocean Access by purchasing an Avenger kit, and expand the impact of your donation, please enter Clean Ocean Access and our address, 21 John Clarke Rd.
