50th U.S.S. America Regatta

Hosted by Old Greenwich Yacht Club in Old Greenwich, Connecticut, this regatta is open to all One-Design, Cruising and Racing boats, with divisions made accordingly.

The U.S.S. America Trophy was first awarded by the Officers of the Aircraft Carrier U.S.S. America in 1971 and has been in competition ever since.

Boat entry is comprised of two race circles.  The PHRF classes will meet south of the green bell at the mouth of Captain’s Harbor.  The one-design classes, Ideal 18, and Laser, will meet near the red bell south of Newfoundland Reef.
