7th Annual Sails Up 4 Cancer Regatta
SONY DSC Sailors Do It For the Cure! Make some waves. Make a difference! Organized by Mystic River Yacht Club and hosted by Mystic Shipyard, this ECSA points event is open to PHRF and One-Design classes, with Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker divisions. There’s also a “Picnic Fleet” for non-competitive sailors, who are encouraged to take cancer patients and families out to watch the races. Hosted by the Mount Sinai Sailing Association in Mount Sinai, New York, this event is the second longest running charity regatta in the USA. Racing classes will be established for PHRF Spinnaker, Non- Spinnaker, Double-Handed and Cruising based on the number of entries of each type. *New this year is a virtual regatta for online fundraising, and it’s open to all with no entry fee.

Sponsored by the Mount Sinai Sailing Association, this is the second longest running charity regatta in the U.S. PHRF Spinnaker and Non-spinnaker boats (with Double-Handed & One-Design divisions based on entries) will sail a course of approximately 8 to 20 miles, followed by a party at Mount Sinai Yacht Club with live entertainment, food, refreshments, raffle & auction.
