Marine Diesel Engines: Basic Course
This seminar, taught by highly experienced diesel technicians, helps recreational boat owners and professional mariners become more familiar with their engines. The focus is on small marine diesel engines. We'll go through case histories, review samples of worn parts, give you a better understanding of diesel engine do's and don'ts, review check lists and offer some helpful anecdotes plus a few good sea stories!

In the Intermediate Diesel Engine Course in teams of two or three you will perform basic maintenance, trouble shoot and solve common diesel engine issues created by your instructor. This course builds on the Marine Diesel Basics Course however that is not a prerequisite. If you already have a basic understanding and some experience with diesel engines you will be fine to take this course.
