Presented by America’s Cup tactician and helmsman David Dellenbaugh, this seminar is ideal for those who are new to sailboat racing or those who want to delve into topics in detail. The morning session covers Downwind, and the afternoon session covers Mark Roundings.

This 2-day, hands-on course includes New York State Boating Safety training and prep for U.S. Coast Guard licensed launch drivers.

Frank Bohlen (a 19-time Bermuda Race navigator), this course includes a discussion of the navigational challenges of Gulf Stream and Florida Current sailing including a discussion on routing software. Ideal for club race officers, this course covers organizing an event, regatta safety, writing the notice of race and sailing instructions, RC equipment, race committee preparations, setting the starting line, setting the course, starting, finishing and scoring.

In the Intermediate Diesel Engine Course in teams of two or three you will perform basic maintenance, trouble shoot and solve common diesel engine issues created by your instructor. This course builds on the Marine Diesel Basics Course however that is not a prerequisite. If you already have a basic understanding and some experience with diesel engines you will be fine to take this course.
