Hosted by Sail Newport in the 11th Hour Great Room, this Clean Ocean Access event has a special focus on residential and business composting opportunities with COA’s newly launched Healthy Soils, Healthy Seas Rhode Island (HSHSRI) project. Enjoy beverages and light snacks as COA staff and composting partners discuss ways to reduce your waste footprint and divert food scraps from the landfill, backyard composting methods, and how to become a HSHSRI ambassador this spring.
