CT Safe Boating Course

$50This one-day course, offered by the Penfield Sail and Power Squadron with instruction provided by certified volunteer instructors, covers the Boating Basics including Required Safety Equipment, Navigation Rules, Federal, State & Local Rules, Safe Towing (water skiing & tubing), Personal Watercraft Rules & Regulations, plus much more.
A licensing exam will be administered after class, and a passing grade on qualifies you for a CT Safe Boating Certificate (including PWC/Jet Ski certificate & Water Ski Endorsement).
Registration must be made online at http://tinyurl.com/pspsabc0519 by April 30. Course materials must be picked up at least one week prior to the class, and students should read ABC Chapters 1 through 4 and the 2019 CT Boaters Guide before the class.
Students must also obtain a CT Conservation ID number prior to class, which is available at https://www.ct.wildlifelicense.com/internetsales.
