Marine Navigation Course
Presented by America’s Boating Club of Greenwich, this is the first of the navigational classes focusing on techniques for piloting a boat in coastal and inland conditions. First sailed in 1954 and open to ORCi and PHRF boats in Spinnaker, Non-Spinnaker, Double-Handed, Plus One and One-Design classes, the Edlu is a classic tune-up for the Block Island Race and Block Island Race Week. The spinnaker course is 32 nm from the Larchmont Breakwater to Gong 11B off Eaton’s Neck and back. The non-spinnaker course is approximately 20 nm.
