Storm Trysail Club Hands-On Safety-at-Sea Seminar
From on-the-water man overboard and storm sail drills to firing flares, extinguishing fires, practicing damage control techniques and in-the-water survival, attendees at this US Sailing certified event will end the day having actively participated in and learned how to resolve a broad range of common safety-at-sea situations.

First held in 1946, this Storm Trysail Club event is a qualifier for the North Ocean Racing Trophy (ORC), the Double Handed Ocean Racing Trophy (ORC), the New England Lighthouse Series (PHRF) and the Gulf Stream Series (ORC). It’s also a qualifier for the Caper, Sagola and Windigo trophies awarded by the YRA of Long Island Sound and the “Tuna Trophy” for the best combined ORC scores in the Edlu and Storm Trysail Block Island Race.
