New York Safe Boating Certificate Course

An event every week that begins at 9:00am on Saturday, repeating until January 21, 2023
ATTENTION: Brianna’s Law requires all power-driven boat operators:
- Born on or after Jan 1, 1983, get a boating safety certificate by 2023
- Born on or after Jan 1, 1978, get a boating safety certificate by 2024
- Obtain a boating safety certificate by 2025 or sooner
- Anyone operating a Personal Watercraft needs a certificate currently
The Safe Boating course offered by our friends at the Neptune Sail & Power Squadron, the most comprehensive, exceeds New York State certification requirements.
