Onne van der Wal Photography Workshop on the Water: The Candy Store Cup

This is a fantastic opportunity to shoot gorgeous superyachts (100 feet and above) racing on Narragansett Bay aboard M/V Gansett, with individual instruction from award-winning photographer and Canon Explorer of Light Onne van der Wal.

Gansett is a stable, comfortable boat with cushioned bench seating, a hard top over the bottom deck and a top deck which is higher for great shooting perspective. You can also shoot from the bow. Captain Jeff is an excellent captain and with Onne’s guidance puts us in the best spot for action, good light and great timing.

This workshop is limited to 15 photographers to ensure individual instruction (Gansett holds 49 passengers so there’s plenty of room to shoot). Onne shoots and discusses his shots as he goes along.  He wanders the boat offering help with your own gear – or his own Canon bodies and lenses.  He will patiently answer all questions and offer his tips and tricks of the trade!
