Sailing Stories 2019

Hosted annually by The Explorers Club at its global headquarters in New York City, Sailing Stories is a day focused on sailing-based exploration and conservation. Presenters include:

Frank Blair: “The Schooner Maggie B.: A Southern Ocean Circumvention.”

Tami Oldham Ashcraft: “ADRIFT: The Story of Love, Loss and Survival at Sea”

Captain Donna Lange: “Sail Twice Around: Inspired Insanity to Sanity: Sailing Stories of Two-time Solo Circumnavigator via the Roaring Forties.”

Dave Rearick: “The Solo Circumnavigation: Was It Worth It?”

John Rousmaniere: “The Golden Pastime: Sailing In Storms and In Glory.”

Tickets are $75 for Explorers Club members and guests, and $35 for students under the age of 16.  The price will rise to $80 after March 29, and tickets will NOT be sold at the door. To secure a reservation, you may also email the club at reservations@explorers.org or call 212-628-8383.
