Taught by Frank Bohlen, a physical oceanographer and Professor Emeritus in the Department of Marine Sciences at the University of Connecticut, this is a full- or part-day course covering:

• Coastal Ocean Weather, Currents & Sea State: Passage Making Considerations 9 am – 1 pm
• The Gulf Stream, A Navigator’s Perspective 1 pm – 5 pm
