Weather Forecasting Seminar

The National Lighthouse Museum and America’s Boating Club (U.S. Power Squadron, established 1914, Staten Island Club) have teamed up to offer a seminar in weather forecasting.
Topics covered include Air Masses and Fronts; Highs, Lows and Winds; Mid-latitude Storms; Tropical Storms and Hurricanes; Clouds; Thunderstorms; Fog; Beaufort Scale; Forecasting; Forecasting Tips; and Internet Weather Resources.
Tickets are $15 for National Lighthouse Museum members and $25 for guests. A certificate of participation will be presented at the conclusion of the seminar.
