3rd Annual Connecticut Sea Music Festival
Presented by The Maritime Music and Tradition Society, this free weekend event includes a Symposium on the Music of the Sea, daytime workshops, a parade, a family stage, demonstrations of sailor skills, a Sunday morning revival-style hymn sing, and late-night Chantey Sings in the historic Griswold Inn! Trees in the Rigging Community Carol Sing & Boat Parade
Together with the Essex Historical Society and Safe Harbor Dauntless & Essex Island, the Connecticut River Museum is proud to announce this year’s Trees in the Rigging Celebrate the season by participating in a traditional, lantern-lit carol stroll from Essex Town Hall to the Connecticut River Museum where spectators are invited to bring their own lanterns or flashlights.
