Northeast Ocean Race Symposium
For the first time ever, in 2023 the three odd-year ocean races in the northeastern United States are jointly sponsoring an educational event. The Marion Bermuda Race, as lead organizer, has joined with the Marblehead Halifax Race and the Bermuda 1-2 Race, to offer this unique event. The Northeast Ocean Race Symposium
Our friends at the “odd year” ocean races (Marion-Bermuda, Marblehead-Halifax, and Bermuda 1-2) are inviting you to the second NORS. Their inaugural event in 2023 had over 150 people in attendance, including a presentation from our own Safety at Sea team. In 2024, the in-person, all-new, full-day program will include exhibitors and presentations on everything from batteries and sail plans to race tactics and crew skills. The 2025 symposium, an in-person only event, will feature all new topics presented by marine industry leaders and renowned speakers on a range of topics sure to be of interest to ocean racers and cruisers.
